Linking up with Hallie again this Tuesday. I love this link up, it is so fun!
1. First Trip Out of The Country
My first and only trip out of this country occurred when I was in elementary school. My dad travels a lot for work, and he was having to go to Canada about once or twice a month for a long time. So....he took us with him. We drove from Pittsburgh to Canada, you can imagine the fun car ride that was with my sister and I who played the "I'm not touching you game" and the constant "Are we there yet?" We got to visit the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, then we traveled to Quebec and stayed in Hawksberry, where the office was that my dad worked from.
2. First Major Purchase on Your Own
My first major purchase was my second car. (My first car was a Jeep and was handed down to me from my parents) It was a 1998 Camry LE. It was fully loaded with leather seats, sunroof, spoiler and it had a CD player! The best everything 1998 had to offer...in 2005. I was so excited about that car though. It lasted me all the way up until this June when I got my Rogue. That Camry was a great car, never had any trouble with it. It looked very similar to the one below, mine had different rims and a little tint on the windows.
3. First Thing You Learned to Cook
The first things I learned to cook were grilled cheese sandwiches and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Yum yum.
Now go link up and tell me your firsts!
I love that it was grilled cheese - still one of my favorites!!
ReplyDeletelooove that every woman in this link up learned how to cook Mac & Cheese first, we are all such domesticated divas;)
ReplyDeletethanks for linking up my dear
xo
I am dying to go to Quebec! So jealous. Also...I still don't think I've mastered the grilled cheese. I can make just about anything except easy stuff- grilled cheese & breakfast. I fail every time.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Niagara Falls someday! It looks so amazing and beautiful! I also love that your firsts for cooking were mac-n-cheese and grilled cheese! So many others have said the same, and I think it's awesome! And also so funny :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with us again today!
I'm pretty sure the first thing I cooked was that exact macaroni and cheese and hot dogs. It was what I ate for lunch EVERY day during the summer when I was at home and my parents were working.
