Weekend Shenanigans

Friday evening was pretty eventful! After we got home from work, we headed over to Bill's for dinner. It was the first time I had chips and queso since my surgery a few weeks ago, and it was amazing! After dinner, we met up with some of our friends at the bowling alley. You guys, I am not going to lie...I SUCK at bowling. Like major suckola! I had the best time though! After we bowled a few games, we decided to go over to Trio's (a bar) because one of my husbands friends was DJ'ing there. It was interesting. There is always such a random mix of people in Trussville. Sadly I have no pictures from this night. I always forget to take some!

Saturday morning was lazy. I spent a lot of time with the dogs. Can these two get any cuter??

Saturday evening we met up with Chris's sister and walked around Target. I love Target, I can literally spend hours in there with no real purpose. After that, we all headed to their parents house for dinner. We had chilly and biscuits and it was a perfect night for it! It was so cold, and it snowed pretty much all day. Sadly, it was just little tiny flakes though, nothing that really accumulated.

While at Target, I couldn't help but pick up a bag of these! They were just calling to me! Don't even pretend like you aren't totally jealous and heading out to pick some of these up for yourself!

Sunday morning I cooked a big breakfast. It has been a LONG time since we have had real bacon (not turkey) and some sausage and hashbrowns. Super yum! After breakfast, I cleaned the house for a few hours and planned out our meals for the week. Chris's parents were kind enough to bring up his gaming chair to our house, and we decided to head out for a late lunch with them. Mexican, my favorite! Then Chris and I headed to Target (again) to do our grocery shopping for the week. I love getting that out of the way on Sundays! Nothing worse than having to do that Monday evening after a long day at work!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful week! Can you believe it's March?!

  2. Oh my gosh, I'd LOVE some of those frosted animal shapes! Those things are the bomb.com! And that breakfast looks delicious! I actually prefer turkey bacon now, I'm not sure why, but I think it's delicious and probably won't buy real bacon again!
