Tell me about it Tuesday, yet it is Wednesday!

Happy Hump day my pretties! So, you may notice that I have made some design changes, and I made a little button thingie-doo. Yeah, don't judge me, I am still trying to learn how to do everything and my computer skills are not crazy good. I am not 100% settled with all of it, and will probably make some more changes, deal with it!

Today I am going to tell you about something that I don't like talking about, but it needs to be brought up publicly to hold me accountable. I made a deal with myself on my 29th birthday that I would lose 30lbs before I turn 30 on August 17th. Well, it is December 19th, and I have only lost 5 so far. While I am glad I have lost some, it is not that impressive. I read Elle Noel every day, and well...she makes me feel like a lazy sack o' poo! That girl has some mad determination, and I need to be more like her! I have been watching what I eat, but I can do better. I have been doing crunches, but I can do more.I need to stop being lazy, making excuses, and jump on the healthy bandwagon full throttle!

So, I made a comment on Southern Girl Gets Fit  today that I plan on sticking to. Kassie is doing this amazing Operation Red Bikini challenge, and I want to be a part of it. Her goal is to be able to rock a red bikini that she purchased, and she asked that we all chose our own goal, and work towards it until May 31. I still want to lose 30lbs by August 17, 2013...but my goal for Operation Red Bikini is to be able to wear shorts and look decent in them by May 31. I have not worn shorts since my freshman year of college. You wouldn't believe me if you saw me  now, but I used to have some damn strong, toned legs! I want them back damnit! I am going to do everything I can do get myself there. Who knows, maybe I can achieve even more by May 31, but I will be the happiest person on the planet if I can rock some cute shorts this summer, before I am too old to wear them at all!

If you are on the path to weight loss, getting fit, or just getting healthy, let me know what it is you are doing to get there. I will follow along with you and keep you encouraged if you do the same for me. The best motivation in the world is knowing there is someone out there that is pulling for you to achieve your goals, and knows how much hard work it is, because they do are doing the same or have accomplished theirs!

Now, with Christmas just a week away, and about 5 different family dinner get togethers I have coming up, and all these darn Christmas cookies and snacks being offered....I have a feeling nothing great will happen in the next week. But, hear me now...January is the month to get real, get serious, and get HAWT!
